About - Who is Ryan Critchett?

Picture, Ryan Critchett - Personal Development, Self Improvement, Psychology, NLPI'm a 26 year old powerhouse! I like to wake up in the morning, and land in my shoes. I've got goals, and maybe their pretty large but that is how extraordinary things are created. If you read the plan page, you'll see that I plan to take this from the web, to the world in the near future!

I grew up in New Jersey, by the beach, love it! My life wasn't always to peachy though, as most of us are experiencing now a days. My dad was never around, in fact I had no idea who he was. I was back and forth, living with people who weren't my real parents and I was never really taught an effective way to live my life. Finally, when my dad got things straight, I went to live with him at about age 10. My dad did what lots of people do here in America, Drink to darn much! He was a great guy, but mix drinking with any human being, and you've got a recipe for disaster! Eventually, when I was 15, he died of alcohol related illnesses.

That was a major shift for me. I moved to Allentown Pa to live with my mom, and things were shaky for a while. I didn't really know how to handle it, who would? I did the teenage thing, learned a lot, experimented and made some bad decisions. I was out of the house by 16 so my model of the world wasn't shaped by anything other than my environment, because at that time, I pretty much accepted that as reality. At the age of 19, I made a decision that would change my life forever. I made a decision to leave everything behind. After all, I wasn't doing anything of significance. I joined the Army. 3 1/2 years later, and a tour in Iraq, I was a completely different person. Yea, I had discipline, honor, integrity, selflessness, the experience of combat and looked at life differently than most of the people I will ever know, but that wasn't enough. I was a pretty negative guy to tell you the truth, with still no instruction manual for life.

I did the civilian thing for a while, thought about being a police officer, bounced around from job to job, never really having any clear direction. Over the course of about a week, all of that changed. I was advised, so to speak, from a woman. She told me "create, visualize, believe." My life has never been the same. I immersed myself in personal development literature. I started picking up books on psychology. I began putting the pieces of my life together, and discovering some things about human beings, myself, and the world around me that would set the tone for my work. My entire life became self improvement. I would read 4 books a month, apply the information into my life and see these profound changes. Anyone and everyone around me for more than 10 minutes got the deal! By the deal I mean I couldn't keep my mouth shut! I was the guy telling people how they can improve their lives, encouraging people to take risks, push past their own barriers, stop smoking, take control of their brains and more! People around me started asking me for advice, and I started asking people what kinds of problems they had. I couldn't stop talking about what I was learning about and I soon found that I was influencing people around me. I know some people who have changed their lives, turned in incredible directions as a result of some conversations we had. That was it, I had to get this information out to as many people as I can. Power of a Positive Mind was created. I am not positive thinking. I am not false hope. I don't claim to have achieved mastery in human effectiveness, success, communication, goals and so on, but because it is my passion, and because I immerse myself in it, because I've applied what I've learned and because I continue to create new strategies, new ideas, new principles, new technologies, I promise you I can give you the tools, ideas, methods, philosophies and more to really help you to create the kinds of experiences you want in your life. That is where I stand! The future is going to be great. I work for it everyday of my life. I'm putting together presentations, audio programs and more! Additionally, I am also writing a book about what I've learned, and what I've created. Thank you so much for reading that! Send me your bio! I invite you to stay a while, to explore the information on this website and to apply it into your life. I'm part of what I consider to be the new movement, a shift in consciousness. The world needs leaders every now and then, it's my turn to step up.

Subject: Wow...

Ive worked with and continue to work with people who come from a similar background you did. Maybe they didnt have much growing up but through certain experiences and people in their life they managed to come out on top. I myself am one of those people. Some make hundreds of thousands of dollars a month and some not nearly as much but they have found their true purpose and that to them is worth more then the riches. Regardless of what your goals are one thing I can tell you is that your half the age of most of the people I am explaining. To me this means your someone to listen to, someone to follow and in my opinion someone who beyond the shadow of a doubt will make it to the finish line! Your going places... I know you didnt need me to tell you all of this but Im sure it helps when you know you have a fan. Go for it!
